Issues, Comments, Labels & Notifications

This guide covers how to work with Issues, Comments, Labels, and Notifications in HighFly.

Issues

Issues are the core unit of work in HighFly. They represent tasks, bugs, features, or any item that needs to be tracked.

Creating Issues

  1. Navigate to a team
  2. Click "Create Issue" or use the quick create button
  3. Fill in the issue details:
    • Title (required): A clear, descriptive title
    • Description: Detailed information about the issue
    • Status: Current state (Backlog, To Do, In Progress, Completed, etc.)
    • Priority: Urgency level (No Priority, Low, Medium, High, Urgent)
    • Assignees: Team members responsible for the issue
    • Labels: Categorization tags

Each issue gets a unique identifier based on the team prefix (e.g., ENG-123 or DESIGN-45).

Issue Status

Issues can have different statuses to track their progress:

  • Backlog: Saved issues for a future date
  • To Do: Not yet started
  • In Progress: Currently being worked on
  • Technical Review: Awaiting review or approval
  • Completed: Completed
  • Paused: No longer working on at the moment

Issue Priority

  • No Priority: Default
  • Low: Low urgency
  • Medium: Standard priority
  • High: Important
  • Urgent: Critical

Issues can be assigned to one or more team members. Assignees receive notifications when issues are updated.
