Seat-Based Billing
HighFly uses seat-based billing, meaning you pay for each active member in your organization.
- Seat Increases: When members join, seats are automatically added and charged immediately
- Seat Decreases: When members leave, seat reductions are reflected in your next billing cycle
- Seat counts sync automatically with your organization membership
Subscription Management
View and manage your subscription in Organization Settings → Subscription:
- View: See your current plan, billing period, and seat count
- Upgrade: Change to a higher tier plan (takes effect immediately)
- Downgrade: Change to a lower tier plan (takes effect at end of billing period)
- Change Billing Period: Switch between monthly and yearly billing
Plan Limits
Each plan has specific limits that are enforced throughout the application:
- Teams: Start (2 teams), Business (10 teams), Enterprise (unlimited)
- Issues: Start (1,000 issues), Business & Enterprise (unlimited)
- File Uploads: Start (50MB), Business (300MB), Enterprise (custom)
When you reach a limit, you'll see upgrade prompts and feature restrictions. Existing content remains accessible.
Billing
Payments are processed through Polar, a modern billing platform.
- Payment Methods: Major credit cards through Polar's secure payment processing
- Billing Cycles: Monthly or yearly (yearly offers discounts)
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Full refund within 30 days of purchase if you're not satisfied
- Invoices: Available in your Subscription settings with email notifications
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime; subscription remains active until end of billing period
- Reactivation: Reactivate from Subscription settings
